  Pass Plus Course
  
  Newly qualified drivers are at their most vulnerable for the first two years of their driving career.
  
  Statistics show that two drivers under the age of 25 die every day in crashes in Great Britain. In their first year of driving, 1 driver in 5 is involved in a crash. All newly qualified drivers regardless of age are a higher than average risk.
  
  Driving is a life skill. While many skills are learned by trial and error, the consequences of error on the road can be catastrophic.
  
  Pass Plus is a voluntary scheme that offers benefits to:
  
  
• Newly qualified drivers – safer drivers and discounted motor insurance
  
  
• Insurance companies - less claims
  
  
• The general public – safer roads
  
  
  The training syllabus, designed by the DSA, consists of a minimum of six hours training and covers:
  
  
• Town driving
  
• All-weather driving
  
• Out of town driving and country roads
  
• Night driving
  
• Dual Carriageways
  
• Motorways
  
  Roger is a registered Pass Plus instructor who can call upon his experience as a police instructor to offer a first class service for interested drivers.
  
  Remember, there is no test at the end of the course. Every candidate completing the course will be issued with a certificate by the DSA.
  
  A list of participating insurance companies who offer discounts on their policies will be issued to every person participating in the Pass Plus scheme.
